Our Trail
Our Trail That We Walk --a couple times a week or more...
Trails & Routes: Lake Youngs 9 Mile Nature Trail
We are very fortunate to live right next to this natural nature trail. I often take the children on a small 1/2 mile hikes. We usually hike to the rasberry and black berry bushes and then turn around and go back to class. This trail is enclosed on both sides --with a metal fence. The children can see butterflies, deer, horses, slugs, lizards and much of the great WA states insects.... While we walk, the children are still learning! We often practice our number counting, alphabet, colors as we walk....
