Enrollment Fees & Rates

Some things all parents need before enrolling their child or children:

 

Plan A:

Before & After school rates: Is for first grade and upper grades, starting in September:  $585.00 a month (for before school and again for after school) for the school year first and then the following summer full time M-F 9 hours a day, there after. This includes public and private school holidays, school breaks, teacher workshop days, public or private school calendared vacations, plus teacher inservice days on the Kent school calendar. We are open to looking at other school calendars, also, but this will be done on a case by case situation.  We have a few days we are closed, please check the "Rates" page for a detail listing of those days. (remember we update our website closure dates along side some of Kent school district closures-not all but some--our calendars come out the end of August every year. 

Plan B:  Before OR After school rate: Is for first grade and above elementary school and middle school grades, starting September. If you just need only mornings or afternoons part time then it's a lower rate of $300.00 a month-if we have space-this plan doesn't include holidays, inservice days, school closure days, late start days, teacher workshop days, spring breaks, president break or any type of school vacations to get your child in for the entire day. The parents who have this plan, have made prior work arrangements to be off on the days the child or children are off at school. If by chance you need those school closure days added to your plan above, then it's $300.00 a month for either the morning or afternoon part time plan above, it would be additional $150.00 a month.  If you need summers also, it would include 9 hours a day at an addition cost of $135.00 a month on top of the $$450.00 rate.  If your only paying $300.00 a month then it would be and additional $185.00 a month for summers with 9 hours a day full time.  Parent's usually get the official school calendar off their childs school website or from the school front desk and use this to request days off from their work-in advance. 

If you have a contract with us and need to make changes to it, please schedule a day for it between the hours of 2pm and 3pm M thru F and not on holidays or weekends.  We can't back any refunds for contracts that are established, even if you qualify for another plan but we can set a time up to establish another new contract (there is no guarantee we have any spots, we do sell them to the first parent's who pay for the spot)  I can't sell an old contract unless the parents recontract with new days and times in advance with 3 weeks advance notice in hand writing with dates.  I can't read minds so please approach me if you need a new contract, other wise I will think we are still on course with the old contract.  If your child is 6 years or older, they aren't required to take a rest any longer but if we feel they look tired we may have them take a little resting time to themselves.  We have the children have a healthy snack and then help guide them on homework. After snack and homework guidance is done then they have free play.  Parent's can opt to have additional tutoring for their child for $20.00 hour, other places charge $40.00 or more for tutoring services.

Waiting list deposit:  We require a $350.00 advance non refundable deposit if your interested in our next upcoming class or daycare opening, you'll fill out a form. This non refundable deposit is to hold the spot for your child but if you locate another place then this would be non refundable, since we would need to take that 3 weeks non refundable deposit, to locate another child for the spot we held for you.  If you do take the next opening, then the 3 weeks deposit goes towards your 3 weeks advance deposit notice period to terminate services because of a move, relocation or simply your child ages out of our program so basically this goes toward your last 3 weeks tuition.  This is done to keep someone from enrolling in multiple schools or daycares thus waisting everyone's valuable time.Wink  This non refundable advance deposit is a per child deposit.   We do have a $50.00 non refundable yearly advance enrollment fee per child, non refundable yearly advance supply fee $25.00 per child plus tuition for the month.

Space is limited.  We don't guarantee class or daycare spots if you need to change to a different schedule, we will try to accomodate your new schedule requests but keep in mind that I need 3 weeks advance notice to change the contract to something else or terminate it. I have other clients making change requests and people who are new that might be just contracting with me that effect the class and daycare schedule. I won't be able to change anyone immediately unless I have space for your child.  I will determine that once I look at the class calendars and schedules.

I do take potty training children for Preschool & Pre-K classes.  I don’t penalize the child because they haven’t learned to potty train or it hasn’t been taught by the parent's yet. In some circumstances either the child or the parents aren’t ready, which is fine with me. Please call us for other rates.  If you need more hourly time, we can add that on for additional hourly charge, no problem! I do have special rates for special situations-not everyone will qualify for these types of rates-parent will need to let me know and show proof of income.

Rates below are for 18 months and older only. Please add $25.00 extra a week for potty trainers.  All rates below are per child.

Before and Afterschool care:  This includes helping your child be successful with their homework. Please make sure homework is in backpack so we can help homework guide your child or children.  Your child will be fed snack first then we would help guide your child into doing their homework, once finished the child can do free play.  If your child lives or attends another academic school more than 1 miles from our business, please add another $25.00 for transportation fees per month. For each additional 5 miles beyond the first 5 miles would be another $25,00 per month fee, this would be added to your daycare tuition, additionally.  These additional fees help cover gas, oil, maintenace, driver and insurance costs. Parents will pay for field trips occassionally, this amount will be posted per field trip occurence.   Parent's will also pay for any extra curricular activities on site, off site or opt out. If parent decides to opt out of a field trip or extra curricular activity then the child or children can be with another assistant for the day of the activity.

(*PT) *Potty Training rate only. Children need adult guidance and help. $25.00 extra per week. Some parents will pay additional for Preschool and Prek to be included in the 9 hour window of daycare, this is not extra time added onto the 9 hour window.  The child will have time to be part of the classroom to do activies for Preschool and PreK- if paid for in advance. We have a mobile classroom, we learn in the playroom, classroom, during meals, during outside play.  I use many tools for learning (toys, games, IPAD2, Cell applications, laptops, desk top computer and natural learning moments.
  Includes social skills, communication skills with learning through play.  Only if space is available.

This includes learning advanced 101 subjects:   phonetics, memorization skills, advanced shapes, advanced numbers, Sign Language 101, Spanish 101, Science 101, Cooking 101, Solar System 101, music 101, Geography 101, Time and Money 101, Skeletal system 101, manners 101, social skills, communication skills.  Note:  Children will be tested to see if they meet the criteria to keep up in an advanced subjects, children should know basic preschool skills to be taught these advanced subjects. 
 

Please note: Daycare rates can be designed to have Preschool or Pre-K package included inthe rates.  I do sell just the daycare or preschool spots only without the other plans. Call me for more details. 

Drop-IN rates (non contracted) below: 

$10.00 hour for infant rate. (drop-in day care rate) with a 4 hour minimum.

Full-time infant rate $1,300.00 a month for a 9 hour work day, additional hour or hours can be requested if you need more traveling time but at an additional hourly rate. This is contracted rate.  Part time infant care is $70.00 for 5 hours or less per day.(if space is available) this is up to age 23 months.  (*PT) *Potty Training rate only-Children who need adult guidance and help $25.00 extra per week. ( this is for any age )

Children 30 months and younger is $1,100.00  a month for full time at 9 hours a day. This is a contracted rate. Part-time for 30 months or younger is $60.00 for 5 hours or less per day.(*PT) *Potty Training rate only-Children who need adult guidance and help $25.00 extra per week. ( this is for any age )
  • All other children 2 1/2 years to 3 1/2 years are $900.00 a month for 9 hours a day and full time. Part-time child care for 5 hours or less is $700.00 a month.(*PT) *Potty Training rate only-Children who need adult guidance and help $25.00 extra per week. ( this is for any age )

    • Drop-In -$8.00 hour for a potty training child for 1yr old to 3 year old.  (Child needs adult assistance and reminders for potty training or is diaper changed) (drop-in day care rate)

    Drop-In -$7.00 hour for 3 yrs to 5 yrs potty training child. (Child needs adult assistance for potty training) (drop-in day care rate this is not the lower contracted rate)

    $6.00 hour for 5 yrs and older. (Child needs no adult assistance for potty training) This is drop-in daycare rate this is not for contracted rate.

    Please anytime your late or earlier than scheduled times, put the extra hourly late fees in the purple, blue, pink envelope that is provided next to the sign in sheet, to avoid daily late fees for not paying in advance for your child or childrens care.  Your 9 hours of paid contracted time is not covered in the late fees.  Most places have you pay for the entire 12 hours slot, we contract for time needed and sell the additional time to other drop in parents.  If you need to extend your time we need it documented in text message with our responce back either confirming or not confirming the extended time. If you don't hear from us then assume there is no extra spots for care and that we are booked solid.  Please only get a hold of us during normal business hours for schedule changes prior to the day it is needed.  We can't accept after 6pm time appointments or weekend appointments because we are closed.  Remember its like a doctors office in appointment scheduleing. We only have 12 spots to sell.  For instance if you contract for 9 to 3pm we will sell the earlier spot and the later spot to a before and afterschool child or  allow for another parent to extend their time with that.  This allows us to make money from the entire 12 hours.  Showing up and needing us to care for your child before your contracted time is additional and you'll need to pay the hourly drop in fee for that, this is not included in your contract fee.  Please pay for this before you leave and put it in the envelope provided next to the sign in sheet so your not charged the daily late fee.  All tuition and dropin childcare are always paid in advance of childcare services or class services. It is considered paid late after 8 am the next following day. 
    We accept, if space is available only two DSHS, DEL, Respic care, Single parent, multiple siblings, foster parent, childcare programs that subsidize, income qualifying with verifiable income tax documents with pay check stubs. I may at a later time change this.
    Drop-In rate is billed at a 4 hour minimum.  If you miss the appointment, it is a full charge.  I need 48 hours notice to cancel a drop-in or contracted appointment by e-mail, voicemail or text message with a confirmation back to you, from us, we charge for the appointment either way. We only schedule appointments during normal business working hours.  Cancellations after the normal business hours are not observed till the next following day.  If you extend your child’s care time without an appointment, then your billed for that time regardless if you arrive early or not, at $1.00 per minute.  We could of scheduled another child in your child’s space. If you schedule in 48 hours in advance, then we can bill you at the hourly rate instead of the $1.00 per minute late charge.  Appointments are not interchangable for other days, you may inquire to see if we have another day that works for you but it needs to be 48 hours in advance so not to be charged the drop in rate. We don't do refunds but we can sometimes do a credit to your account for future care. If your child is the only child left at the end of the day because your late, then I would need to bill you at $1.00 per minute, as I and my assistants do not work for free.  We need to get paid our Over Time, just like you do and it helps pay the electric, phone, and grocery bills to keep your child warm and safe.
    Please sign in black or blue ink only on the sign in sheet daily and per occurrence. This needs to be with a full hand written signature, date and time, when you drop off your child or children. We do need a seperate sign in signature and time for each child. Please no initials and no military time, other agencies will be viewing these forms once in a while and they need it to be a particular way for their companies. Please do not allow your child to write on the official forms. (the children have drawing time in the classroom or you can offer drawing time in your car or at your home) Any parent who signs up for the free USDA food program needs to sign in with time and full readable handwritten signature and sign out in the same manner. If the signature and time is missing on the sign in sheet, I will need to charge the parent's $2.00 per occurance as the USDA will not pay us for missing signatures and times on the sign in sheets.
    • I will take most children who are diagnosed with special needs or disability and I do have a special needs rate. (ask) or look below.
    • I can not exclude children with disabilities from my programs, unless their presence would pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others or require a fundamental alteration of the program.

    • I charge a new child yearly advance enrollment registration fee- It's a yearly non refundable fee of $50.00 per child.  If there is a break of more than 30 days between enrollment of last enrollment period because your child was disenrolled then starting a new enrollment with us is a new $50.00 yearly advance enrollment fee per child.

    •  Also there is a yearly non refundable supply fee $25.00 per child.  This only covers paper, crayons, pencil during project time.

     I do take mild challenging children but at a higher hourly rate of $8.00/$9.00 an hour. (to be determined-TBD per child)

  • Parent's help pay for field trips and special activities...  (I will post upcoming events on the, door, on-line class calendar or give out notices) Families pay $20.00 or more per child for special field trip & educational enrichment classes that will be offered. Keep posted.
  • I do give family discounts of 5% for parents who pay at the beginning of the month for tuition, this is only for the families who aren't receiving a subsidy that might fall between the cracks of qualifying for funding that have two children or more enrolled with us. This is without coupon specials or other advertised specials. Sorry I am too small of a business to make it a higher discount.  A facility with 100+ kids may be able to give you a higher family discount.
  • Coupon specials are only for new clients with a new child enrollment, with proof of coupon to be filed in your childs file when you pay in advance.
  • I can income qualify single parents for a lower class/daycare rate-with document verification for this-when you pay in advance.
  • NOTE: Word of mouth advertising (your friends, relatives, co-workers) I will give your family $50.00 gift card (current or x client) once I have a new fully enrolled student or daycare child with contract for more than 4 months for full time.
  • For contracted childcare:  My fee to open earlier than 6 am is higher per hour and to schedule after 6pm. (It is the regular rate then add another $1.00 per hour per day to that-if scheduled in advance during work hours of 9 to 5pm by appointment in text, email or voicemail with a confirmation back) If there is no advance appointment and parents fail to call to increase and extend schedules then it's the $1.00 a minute rate per child and per occurence for contracted childcare and drop-in childcare. 

  • I will only take (two) state subsidize child. No company or agency has to legally take any subsidize agencies...  I'm too small to absorb anymore than this. If the state crumbles financially, I don't want to have all my eggs in one basket. 
  • Children who are medium to high risk special needs it'ss at a higher hourly rate of $13.00 and hour.
  • A severely challenging high risk child is going to be $15.00 an hour.  (If I can get the parent's to work with "new tools for behavior management, then the rate will go down after the child is assessed and is improving over a 4 week period).
  • I do tutor students for $20.00 an hour most places charge $40 and hour or more.
  • Parent's who want to be involved in a play group, co-op or volunteer with us, need to do a criminal history check and some will need to do a finger printing at the police station and a few other qualifying forms will be needed also-please see me or email me for this information.  Class or daycare could be free for the child with the parent assisting and volunteering in another classroom-once parent goes through the mandatory criminal check procedures and etc...  (we can work out a schedule with an on-line calendar) Basically this would be like a co-op option.
  • I do take part-time children, if I have a class or daycare spots. (this can comprise of 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours, 4 hours or more a day during daycare hours with an advance scheduled appointment).
  • I'm licensed for ages 11 yrs to birth, for 12 children under this age range. 
  • I have assistants and some volunteers-all have been ran through a criminal background history check and etc... (please ask to see their documentation-it is on file) Everyone who lives in this home business has had a criminal history check that is 16 or older.  Anyone who works around the children has been cleared with a criminal history check.  I do take before and afterschool children if I have space. (I do have space for 2 before and after school children but that could change once someone enrolls) We do transport and there might be a weekly transportation fee involved for any schools 1 mile or more from our place.  Most of our enrolled children are before and after school care but get off our local school bus stop and would not be billed a transportation fee-unless they need us to transport instead of the bus system.
  • If a parent makes an appointment for (drop-in) childcare, daycare or Preschool/Pre-K then the parent is responcible in paying for the day regardless if the day is used or not. I will take an advance 48 hour cancelation in e-mail, text, voicemail for drop in childcare. All parent's sign in on the sign in sheet and this is stipulated here and  on the sign in sheets.

      • Yearly Enrollment advance fee is $50.00 per child  (non refundable) most places charge $75.00
      • Yearly advance supply fee is $25.00 per child (non refundable) some places charge higher... (this covers crayons,paper and pencils).
      • All parents/guardians need to e-mail, text me or voice message me in advance to schedule their children for extended appointments either before class or after class so not to be billed the (over time ) OT $1.00 per minute per child fee.  I will confrim back with parent's in e-mail, voice or text message if the child can either come to class/daycare earlier or later than our scheduled appointment times- be it contracted or drop-in. If I don't get an e-mail, text, I M  or voicemail to extend times and confirm back with you within 15 minutes  then assume I don't have room for your child.  When calling my work number, it has voicemail that is sent to my e-mail which I can view right on the computer or my cell phone and then respond.  I don't confirm appointments in the evenings, holiday's, my vacations or on the weekends- as I am closed but I will as soon as I can (sometimes the first business day or second day and if I'm really busy the 3rd business day.  My current clients have presidence over everyone else. When parent's get a confirmed e-mail back from me to extend and appointment then it's the hourly fee that is charged per hour per child. I do not charge by the minute for childcare or class contracted-it is calculate on the hourly basis for agreed in advance appointments-unless your late or too early for an appointment. 
      • I have a 4 hour minimum for drop-ins per day or more hours if you'd like and if I have space.
      • I need an e-mail, text message, Instant Message or voicemail of an absence for all children (contracted or drop-In) in advance at least 48 hours or more so not to be charged for drop in rate. If your contracted we need a call 48 hours in advance to cancel your child on the class calendar.   This helps us get to the nature trail right away on schedule or backyard plus it helps us plan meals, snacks and class projects.  Please let me know ASAP so I can put it on the class calendar as well.  I'm sure you wouldn't appretiate me doing a no show or not cancelling with you in advance. Plus, it does help me want to keep you as a client and not look for someone else to take your place that is more respectful of my time. I'm sure you know the saying "if you want respect you've got to give respect".  The class calendar isn't 100% correct nor are the spread sheets, it is only a guide and a small tool, things change hourly with kids and families but I do try to keep it up to date as best as I can. You could be looking at the online calendar one minute and then a change to it could happen 5 minutes later... I can post most holidays and vacations a few weeks in advance. I try to post further in advance when I know Kent school district calendar but if they don't post until then end of July then I will need to post once they post.  I wish they posted month earlier but they don't as of yet.  This is going to be a flexible area where parent's are going to need to understand this is beyond my control, since most of you aren't paying $1,600.00 a month for tuition like other places charge, I will need your understanding.  If I type back to you saying I should know in July or August on a certain date or days, it may change if they change their notice periods to the public.  I'm sorry in advance for having this small complication. If it bothers you, please seek other care. I really need parents who are flexible and understanding of the curves of life.
      • Drop-IN's only:  No shows are full charge for the appointment, as I could of made an appointment with another family. If you need to cancel please do so via e-mail, text or voicemail 48 hours before the appointment day so I can make other plans.  (Thankyou for your understanding)
      • I can keep prices low only if everyone makes sure that they call, text, IM, voicemail, or e-mail me  in advance 48 hours or more that their kids will be absent, with 24 hours or more notice-some notice is better than none.
      • I have low fees only if everyone can make sure they buy the required LG items for their child or children for class and daycare. If a parent creates unnecessary problems for LG, I have no choice to find another replacement child for their child's spot.  Parents who are constantly neglectful of their child by not bringing appropriate daily required items for the child or children, can be terminated without notice.       •  Remember to think of your child first and set them up for class success! Sending your child to class without a appropriate coat for the weather (snow/rain) is setting your child up for failure.  This goes for shoes, as well.  Shoes that are too many sizes bigger than the child's feet, sets your child up for a trip or a fall and it creates tripping hazards not only for your child but other children. Plus it is hard for them to learn to run, hop, skip and keep up with their friends in games. Not only this, it can cause future foot problems.
      • I need a 3 weeks advance notice deposit fee (non refundable) to be used for the last 3 weeks of childcare or class.This needs to be submitted on a Monday in hand writing with date and time of last day of care. If payment isn't on time (any and all payments) parent's can be terminated without notice. If parents haven't paid their advance 3 weeks deposit for their notice period, then their child can be terminated without notice. There is no exchange for days or weeks while on 3 weeks notice period. The 3 weeks notice is in 3 consecutive weeks in a row-per your scheduled days, hours, weeks. Parent's who don't submit a hand written letter of intent to withdraw their child with 3 weeks notice in advance will forfeit deposit or will be charges for 3 weeks notice period if there was no advance deposit given for those 3 weeks. No email, text, I M, verbal or voicemail and ect.. accepted for this 3 week advance notice. In rare circumstances parent's might have extra daycare time hours or days, this will be taken from the deposit, unless parents pay at time of service per occurance. We will bill any fees that aren't paid for. Parents who don't pay extra hours or days can be terminated and billed for the days they haven't paid.  In some circumstances we will put your account into collections and parents will need to pay their processing fees. On top of that parents are obligated to pay any court fees, attorney fees, postal fees or any fee incurred while in discovery of where your address and location are without giving us that data on a legal change of address form supplied by our office. By not giving us your new address and avoiding payment for services is admitting guilt.
      • We have the right to refuse services to anyone that is negative and not providing daily supplies of what is needed to make your child a successful person in class or daycare. Anyone not paying on time, can loose their class or daycare spot immediately and will loose their deposit-we will use this for all non payment of fees incurred during childcare or class time. This could be arriving to class or daycare late fees, too early to class or daycare fees, daily late fee's for tuition not paid, attornies, postal fees, bank fees, NSF fees,
      • If parent's do not sign on sign in sheet with full signature, date times of arrival and departure of child or children then parents will owe $2.00 per child per meal period since I wont be able to claim for that missing signature or signatures.  No military time or initials please. 
      • All parents agree to enroll with a free gmail account to be able to get emails from LG and to view class calendars.  If your computer viewing at work or home doesn't work, please refresh page or reboot your computer.  Last but not least, please schedule to view your free Google email, calendar and documents area with Janice between 2pm and 4pm M-F and not on holidays or weekends.  The public library is free for computer use and there is always Kinko's for a nominal charge from them.  (or maybe a relative or friend will let you view the sites-if your connection is not so good)
      • We have the right to audit your account and bill for time used at time of your departure from us. If you forgot to pay late fees of any kind you will be billed for this once my accountant audits your account and signatures on file. 
      • There  is no exchange for days or times.  My hourly wage is a communative of fees from all parents, as you wouldn't want your pay to go down per hour, nor do I. Let's say I make $30.00 an hour but because someone wants to take the day off or try to exchange day hours for afternoon hours, which I don't do, would effect my hourly wage base.  Think of a class spot, like rent or a mortgage, just because you leave for vacation, your mortgage holder/lease holder is not going to reduce the amount you owe, same thing with my class spots.  I can't sell a spot here and there, so parents are obligated for the full agreement.
      • There is no way to discuss every little tiny detail a parent or child needs to do before enrollment, in a class tour, this is why parent's are asked to view the website first (before starting their child/children) Then parents are given forms to enroll their child, this makes the information more crystal clear (as long as the parents take time to read everything). 
      • Contract changes need to be done 3 weeks in advance to see if we can accomodate the change in circumstances be it time changes or day changes. Please give this new proposed change in hand writting with date.day and time it will need to go into effect 3 weeks before the change needs to take place.  Sometimes we can accomodate the change and sometimes we can't, we'll let you know once the hand written dated and signed document is on file.
      • There are two type of people.  One type of person sees a spot on a beautiful rug (and keeps complaining about it-which is negative)  and the other type of person enjoys the beautiful rug regardless of the silly spot on the rug-which is positive. I'm hoping to attract the positive type of clients so we all have nice life experience....
      •  If you find someone who is extremely clean (that should be a red flag) or a person who is extremely dirty again (red flag). Normal average people are somewhere in the middle. I am human and will make errors just like you and I am not perfect and don't  and won't ever claim to be.  Please send me an email of any subject you would love to discuss to find a solution or resolve. I'm pretty negotiable. 
      Rates depends if your child is potty trained or not potty trained mostly... (completely potty trained is a child
      that needs absolutely no assistance from an adult)
      EX:  The contracted rate is configured by taking the rate per day, multiplying it by 52 weeks a year then dividing it by 12 months -to get your monthly rate. Some people need just a few hours so I charge by the hour for some people and I also have monthly class fees for longer time frames for parent's who work longer hours per day--just ask which way works best for your family.  I don't charge parent's for a whole day when they don't use the whole day when they go hourly with a contract-some places charge by the day regardless if you use the time or not.  I do contract other children for early class spots and afternoon spots, which would be past or before your contracted time. Some places charge you for the entire spot for the 12 hour day, I don't do this unless you really need the total 12 hours for the day. Large facilities charge $1,200.00 or more a month for the entire 12 hour day. I charge for what you use each day. 
      There are times when my class or daycare is full so parent's who want to be part of my program will need to sign up on a waiting list and thus giving a 3 weeks advance deposit to hold a spot that would be coming up and this would be non refunable but the money would go toward your enrollment cost-which is non refundable. Once the child is fully enrolled, this 3 weeks advance notice deposit will go toward the child's last 3 weeks of childcare or class (as long as I get a 3 weeks notice in hand writing with date of last day of care with signature from parent and all class fees are paid in full) The deposit holds the next spot for you and also helps us believe that your truly interested in the class spot and keeps people from randomly signing up everywhere.  Rates are updated with all childcare businesses in March and April and sometime in September of every year-usually. Remember, if you contract to pay monthly and you don't pay on time, you could loose your child's spot immediately and you would forfet any deposit you put in because your not paying on a timely manner.  You have to give us a hand written advance notice of leaving Little Geniuses with putting last date of care and it needs to be started on a Monday 3 weeks in a row or you forfet this deposit.  You may not use your 3 week deposit for keeping your account a float without the written 3 week notice period with exact dates of leaving.  I need to have this on file.  If I don't have it on file you've voided your contract. No giving 3 weeks notice during my vacation times, as this is a time I could not look for a new child for your child class or daycare spot. Plan ahead please.
      • I do take potty training children for Preschool/Pre-K
      • Drop-In rate for 4 hours is $40.00 to be paid in advance. (Preschool/Pre-K rate)
      • I will take respic children.
      • I will take children who are foster children--since I'm licensed.
      • I will take most children who are diagnosed with special needs or disability and I do have a special needs rate. (ask) I cannot exclude children with disabilities from my programs unless their presence would pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others or require a fundamental alteration of the program.
      • I charge a new child enrollment registration fee & supply fee if there is a break of more than 30 days between enrollment of last enrollment and starting a new enrollment.
      • I do take challenging children but at a higher hourly rate of $8.00/$9.00 an hour.
      • Parent's help pay for field trips and special activities...  (I will post upcoming events)
      • I do give family discounts. 5%  This is without coupon specials or advertised specials.
      • I can income qualify single parents for a lower class/daycare rate-with document verification for this.
      • I can income qualify low income couples-with document verification.
      • NOTE: Word of mouth advertising (your friends, relatives, co-workers) I will give your family $50.00 gift card (current or x client) once I have a new fully enrolled student or daycare child with contract for more than 4 months.
      • I will only take (one) state subsidize child. I don't legally have to take any...  I'm too small to absorb anymore than this.
      • Children who are special needs is at a higher hourly rate of $12.00 and hour.  
      • A severely challenging child is going to be $10.00 an hour.  (If I can get the parent's to work with "new tools for behavior management then the rate will go down after the child is assessed and is improving over a 4 week period.
      • I do tutor students for $20.00 an hour.
      • Parent's who want to be involved in a play group with us, need to do a criminal history check and then it's $4.00 an hour for the child with the parent assisting and volunteering or it's full rate per hour for the child, if the parent wants to leave.
      • I do take part-time if I have a class or daycare spot. (this can comprise of 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours, 4 hours or more a day during daycare hours with a scheduled advance appointment).
      • I'm licensed for ages 11 yrs to birth, for 12 children under this age range. 
      • I have assistants and some volunteers-all have been ran through a criminal background history check and etc...
      • I do take before and afterschool children if I have space. (I do have space for 2 before and after school children)
      • If a parent makes an appointment for drop-in childcare, daycare or Preschool/Pre-K then the parent is responcible in paying for the day regardless if the day is used or not. I will take a 48 hour of cancelation in e-mail for drop in childcare. All parent's sign in on the sign in sheet and this is stipulated on the sign in sheet daily.
      • I personally take a 2 week vacation at the end of each summer and at the end of each year-see online calendar.  This helps me rejuvinate myself for the upcoming school year and New Year.The children do so well in my class that parent's are very happy to pay for my vacation times so I will come back and continue teaching or providing daycare. People who don't take time off suffer from burn out and often quit and give 3 weeks or more notice to end care. I want to continue teaching for at least 10 to 15 years but in order for me to want to do this, I do need to take vacations just like anyone else.  This is paid by all the family parents enrolled. Just like your work pays for your vacation time, my families all together pay for my vacation time and holiday's off.  Your portion of the paid vacation is a small portion of many parents combined-not one person is responsible for the vacations or holidays. See class online calendar for all closed holiday's and vacation weeks.  Most of my parents take the same vacation time off so we're all in sink together, some families get 6 to 8 weeks paid vacation and decide to take that during the year at other times.  I don't close for spring break in May or mid winter break in February.  There are places that close during the summer ( I don't close during summer ) There are places that close during the school breaks and on all of the school holiday's and in-service days--I do close on major holidays.  Putting in perspective of what your child gets out of LG cognitivily, socially daily this is a great opportunity for us all.  Best of all it's tax deductable... No one is allowed to give there 3 weeks notice during my vacation times.  It needs to be given on a Monday to follow 3 consecutive weeks in a row, in hand writing with date of last day of care listed.  If this is given on a Wednesday, this will be put toward the next Monday for the next 3 week advance notice period. There is no exchanging days or weeks for different days or weeks. 
      All childcare/daycare and Preschool/Pre-K is ONLY contracted appointment times.  Any and ALL appointments to bring your child/children earlier/later or on other days--needs to be prearranged in advance-last minute calls are usually ok but not as IDEAL (you can try to see if I have space).  Ideally the more advance notice the better your chances of getting a spot for your child/children.  I usually have room but I do need to stick to my state license child ratio's as I'm a licensed business (I'm not an unlicensed business that takes every child no matter what). I charge a dollar per minute/per child for children dropped in too early for me to care for (if I have space) or later past your appointment time- IF there is no advance call asking to see if we have space or not.
      This is not a 24 hour drop the child off whenever you feel like it type of place, all childcare is prearranged and scheduled by appointment and contract.  I have set licensed guidelines that I adhere to. 
      I have $10.00 a day late fees for any payments and fees that are late. I do need a call to open up times or days. You can call me, text me, I M me, fax me, or email me and all I need to do is to approve it in advance to open up more time for your child/children before class/daycare or after daycare/class it will be an additional hourly charge per child-not the dollar a minute charge with advance approval.
      Remember my quit time is my last appointment for the day and my start time is my first appointment for the day. If you need to schedule, please get a hold of me during business hours.  I don't usually check my email or messages at night or on the weekends nor the holidays. I will check these avenues, the next business day. I'm closed for all holidays. Please make an appointment with me before I go on holiday or vacations as I will not be reachable during those times, hopefully relaxing.  Just make sure to make appointments during nap time between 2 to 3:30pm while the children are napping, this is our less noisy time.  This a time I will be less distracted from our conversation and more ideal.  I sometimes will see parents before 9am before class time. Please always make an appointment with me, for anything that may come up. 
      Payment obligation of parents/guardians is based on the hours agreed to use on the class and daycare contract and sign in sheet contract, not on actual attendance of the child or children. There is no change in fee due to your child’s absences. My hourly wages are an accumilation of all the families that come daily, in which I don't want to have fluxuate and go down because a child gets ill or the parent decides to take the day off. I'm sure you wouldn't want your wages to go down just because your boss decided you should make less money because he was ill or just didn't feel like paying you. At the end of the day my income is $0. after the last contracted appointments are over with (when I normally make well over $40+ and hour) Please remember that my OT fee is a $1.00 per minute either before contracted times (if you come in early and expect me to watch your child without and appointment) or after the end of your contracted time at the end of the day).  I bill hourly for everyone (not by the minute or 5 minutes).  If you come to class 9:30 to 1:30 then your hourly is continued this way.  If your contract is 9am to 2pm then it continues in that time frame.

(completely potty trained with no adult assistance)

      Preschool Class Only  a month for Full Time  (potty trained w/no adult assistance) This is for 4 hours of class Monday thru Friday ( this is not a 2 hour class charge ) Most classes end after 2 hours at other Preschools.  Remember to double the fee at other places for longer hours. If you need the 2 hour class then the fee is cut in half.  (writing 101, reading 101, Science 101, Spanish 101, Sign Language 101, Computers 101)  Drawing, puzzles, games, free play, social skills, communication skills, manners 101, dramatic play are offered...

      I highly advise the 4 hour a day Preschool / PreK class for full time if you want your child reading before 1st grade.  I can NOT guarantee your child will be reading books with only going part-time and missing class days for multilple reasons-maybe they miss days for extra holiday's, for too many vacations, or they stay home alot because it's convienant for the parents or they get ill more than the average child.  The difference between an A student and a C student is the A students don't miss class days.... the C students do. My goal is to give them a 600+ or more word vocabulary before they go to 1st grade and by having them reading books years before 1st grade, which will achieve this goal... A child's high vocabulary is formed by verbal communication from adults, children and from parents reading books to children daily and if the children are reading books at a younger age, this will give them the biggest edge for growing an even higher vocabulary by reading words from books. The younger a child starts in my program the more likely he/she will be reading books.  If you start your child at age 5 yrs and they age out of my program there is no guarantee I will have your child reading in so short of a time span.  I did take a student who was 4 yrs old coming into my class part time with the parents later changing to letting her come to class full time-in which I had the child reading 6 month later. I've had 2 other children enroll at younger ages of 2 1/2 reading books by 3 yrs and another enrolled at age 3 yrs and reading 9 months later but the successes are coming from being enrolled full time.

      • Cancellation policy for drop-in daycare or class. (this would only be for parent's who don't want a regular schedule with us each week or month)

        We understand that sometimes plans fall through. However, this property (Little Geniuses) imposes the following charges to its customers that we are required to pass on: Cancellations or changes made after 4:00 PM (Pacific Daylight Time (US & Canada) 2 days prior to drop-in appointment are subject to paying for the full appointment that was scheduled.  Contracted parents do not have this luxury because they are paying a lower prorated rate than drop in children do. Little Geniuses property makes no refunds for no shows, no switching of hours, days or early checkouts with a refund, credit or and equal trade. If you child arrives later than scheduled appointment then there is no refund for that time that your child wasn't here-we were here and available.
      • On public and private school closure days we are open, requires 7 days cancellation notice.
      • We reserve the right to alter our hours of operation due to inclement weather. This could be tornado, earthquake, flooding,volcanic eruption, or simply power outage or act of nature.  We do not offer refunds for early closures or any closures due to nature or beyond our means.

      We do have a gun locked on the premises. This is for sport and for protection.

      During our vacation time we have our family members watch the house.  This could be any of Greg's 4 sister and brothers.  Sometimes we may ask our older daughters to watch the house or feed the pets but usually it is Greg's brothers who stay with us for security. We do turn on video monitoring whenever we leave the house and when we are closed for our safety.

      I will take real steady walkers for Preschool class.  Wabbly walkers need to wait till they have better balance and fall under the infant rates...

      We are open during Spring vacation on the Kent school district calendar except might be closed for a Friday or Monday see LG calendar.  We are also open a few other school closure days that are not holiday's also. Most places close during the summer and during Kent school closures but I stay open. Every business runs there own personal business the way the wish. I'm not a 24 hour daycare.  My appointments are done in advance by phone, e-mail, voicemail, text messages and confirmed back in email, text message or voicemail.  If you don't receive a confirmation back we probably don't have an opening. If you would like to drive by and see if I have an opening, this is fine during normal 8am to 5pm business hours but remember we may be on a field trip or on the nature trail.

       

      Security and Safety:   We have a biometric finger scanner for our clients that are scheduled for childcare or preschool. This biometric finger scanner will not let the general public into our place.

      Children may be sleeping in the early morning hours before 9AM or after 1:30PM so make sure to use your whisper voice and come into our place quietly at those time to respect the children's need for quality deep sleep. This in turn will keep them healthier and emotionally ready for their class and daycare friends thus setting them up for class and daycare success!  Cranky children do not usually want to play, communicate or socialize (just like adults)

      The Preschool/Pre-K and daycare will be closed the following holidays:  Please post these dates on your personal calendar at least 30 days or more in advance. If you have a question, please e-mail or talk to me about it during our scheduled conferences.  I will post holiday and vacation schedule once I get a copy of the Kent school district calendar, unfortunately sometimes it's not released till the middle of summer.  Please keep posted around that time for the following years calendar to be posted. Most days repeat yearly but not all. 

       Please talk to me at the door at drop offs and pickups to confirm closed days before you get someone else to watch your child or children. This schedule can change but usually doesn't (life happens). I'm not perfect.  Some of you have a reduced childcare tution by income qualifying in, please keep me informed in advanced of your childs absences at least by 24 hours or more notice so to keep your childs spot.  If a parent is neglectful in not informing me in advance of absences of their child, I will tour and get a new more responcible parent client who will keep me informed better.  We make plans for class projects daily and meals so we need to know whos attending and who is not. I do my best to keep everyone informed of my schedule and I expect the same in return. I'm sure you wouldn't appreciate me canceling on you last minute and messing your days plans up.  By looking at the class calendar before you make alternate childcare plans, you'll be more informed.  Often parents will text me to see if I'm closed, which is totally fine.  Email or call me. I'm available by many means electronically and in person.   I no longer will take the Easter Monday off, my children are now too old to appreciate it as we did when they were younger.  (teenagers) Everyone needs to look at the class calendar at least weekly. Thanks for your understanding.  Communication is the key, just ask... If you can't look at the class calendar at work, home or on your cell, please make time to view on my computer so I can help clarify for you.

I start class and daycare the same day Kent school district does.  Unfortunately, they don't let us know until late mid summer when those dates will take effect for the following years. The two weeks is not counting weekends.

      Closed Columbus Day  This is a professional training day. States and/or local governments and/or private businesses (including banks) make their own decision(s) as to how to treat the day. It has nothing whatsovever to do with the fact that Columbus Day is still a federal holiday.

      *Any of the above holidays falling on a weekend will be observed the Friday before or the Monday after the holiday. Remember most places close in the summer and I don't, which give your child the chance to not experience "Summer Slide" and fall behind cognitively. I also stay open for Presidents break and Spring break-most places close both those weeks.

      I will also take up to four (4+) weeks vacation per year. My dates are posted on this website and  the on-line class calendar. Some parents take the same vacation days as I do or they may find child care during that time. You will be charged for (4+) weeks that I am on vacation to hold your class/daycare spot open during that time You are also responsible to pay for the scheduled holidays and vacations above if they fall on your scheduled days for care.

      I will guaranteed the LG closed schedule will be up 2 weeks in advance and I will try to have it months before if I can.

      I take 3 professional training days off a year, parents are obligated to pay those day so I can update my skills.

      Drop In is by advance appointment only- that can be for an hour or more between 6am to 6pm daily Monday thru Friday. The more notice I get the more likely I will be able to squeeze your child in.  I do book up fast.  The best notice will be months ahead but as always you can see if I have openings the day of.

      Tutoring is $20.00 an hour. This is done only in the AM before 9:30AM and after 2PM Monday thru Friday and no later than 6 pm. 

      There is no refunds for tuition, yearly enrollment fees, supply fees, OT over-time fees, any money that is given to LG or Janice will be applied to their childs account first, if there isn't any outstanding late fees, OT fees or any of the fees stated above then we would refund the residual of that. There is never a refund of the 3 weeks deposit notice period, this money goes toward the last 3 weeks of your childs childcare or Preschool spot only and any late fees not paid. If parents don't give proper advance  handwritten 3 weeks advance notice to terminate the childs spot then the deposit is lost. This is to allow us enough time to find another child replacement for that spot. All care is to be paid for at time of service before the children are dropped off for care, otherwise there will be daily late fees associated with their account or accounts, that will be billed for.  We need to have 12 children spots paid for per hour so we make our hourly wages.  If you only see one child here at 5pm that means we are only getting paid for only one child which is usually below $8.00 hour (which isn't minimum wage)  It is impariative that families pay for their time with us.  If you have a contract for 9 hours, it doesn't mean you get the 10th or 11th hour for free because you got stuck in traffic or decided to go shopping. Your lower cost for your contracted spot, is so we can let children come into that spot when your contracted appoint has ended. Therefore if your contracted to pickup at 3pm we can sell that spot to an afterschool child from 3 to 5 or 6pm at our discression. (because you didn't want to pay additional for that time slot) We can only have 12 children, we can't have 13,15 or 100 children like centers can.  Your paying for a low child ratio and specifically  for the time you need care for.


      Snow storms,wind storms or natural diasters --we close if Carriage Crest elementary school closes-no refunds.

      Intense children are harder to care for, it will cost an additionial $10.00 a week for boys or girls who are intense personalities... This will be determined at tour with a followup in 4 weeks after care has started.

      Special needs care-if the child is hard to manage or intense then we will need to get Level 2 special needs rates.  This rate is $10.00 an hour per child.  In special cases we may opt to charge $13.00 and hour or $15.00 an hour for more intense personalities that need more intense personal care.

      All parent pay for late fees and co payment late fees.  It is $10.00 per day for late fees and late copayment fees for any and all services at Little Geniuses.  All parents pay for optional preschool and prek classes if they sign up for them, the state of WA only pays for daycare only for now.  All parent's pay for additional childcare for personal reasons. All parents pay for field trips to zoo and ect...  The field trips usually cost about $20.00 per child but can cost more, we would let you know in advance if it's going to cost more. 

       

      Please note:  This is a business.  I am reasonable.  Please make an appointment with me for any adult conversation that needs to not be done in front of the childcare children. I schedule appointments M thru F at 2pm to 4pm while the children are napping.  I mainly reserve 2pm to 3pm for parent conferences and tours from 3 to 4pm.  Please remember our contract is what determines hours of care, even if you don't use all of your time and show up early. I can't book appointments on maybe's and what ifs.  I schedule appointments in and around all scheduled appointments, like doctors do. There is always that afterschool child who needs a daycare spot.   If parents need to re-contract for a new class or daycare spot please let me know 3 weeks in advance in handwritting with date of last day of care and this should be dated Monday thru Friday consecutivily in a row. I will try my best to accomodate your new schedule change but there maybe and outside chance I won't be able to. I am a very small home business and only 12 children can be in a spot. We can never book for 13 children or more.  You will find this option available to you at a center that has 13+ more child ration than I do.   If there is any legal actions parents assume all legal fees, accounting fees, bookkeeper fees, mailing fees, court fees and lawyer fees. I want all parents to notify me of any schedule changes via email, text message with a text or email back to you to secure the change so we both are leaving a paper trail.  If you don't hear back from me, it might be bcause there is no room for the change so consider no reply a not confirmed change.  I do business during the normal business hours of 8 to 5pm  M thru F, when it comes to any schedule changes or new information.  Please only contact me during normal business hours so I can plan appointments.  I am not getting paid in the evening or weekends and reserve that time for my family. I don't run a 24 hour childcare. 

      There are businesses that charge $1600.00+ a month for daycare full time hours and some are higher than this, I think Bright Horizons is one of them.  These other type of childcare businesses charge for the whole day 6am to 6pm.  When I contract with parents, its for blocked off time, just for them,  so I can sell the unused spot to someone else. This usually will give the parents a daily savings, if they are timely and show up on agreed contracted times. The parent who needs to extend time will pay the OT late fee and any fees that are associated with not paying. I am always paid in advance, even for drop in care.  Please use the envelope that is near the sign in sheet to put your late fees that are past your agreed contracted time in, so your not charged for not paying for your late fees because we charge $10.00 a day for any and all late fees for tuition, over time fees and etc...

      By not paying in advance any money owed voids the contract and you will loose your last 3 weeks advance deposit for the last 3 weeks of care so we can cover any unpaid fees in your account.  I do have the right to refuse service to anyone, if anyone is vulgar or negative in front of the children or clients the parent automatically will be terminated with loss of contract and 3 weeks paid advance deposit-this money will be used to finalize this account and help look for a new positive client to take your childs spot.

      We do charge $2.00 per diaper, swim diaper, swim pull up or pull up if we need to purchase them, if parent forgets to provide them for us. Ointment will be a $10.00 charge. Mist tear free 50SPF or higher sunscreen will be a $15.00 charge. Meals and snacks are $2.00 per meal if you don't sign up for the USDA food program. 

       

      Parent's can choose to bring their own food in instead, as long as it has enough fresh foods for snacks and meal periods, they should be healthy foods not high in salt or sugar. When you bring a soft sided small insulated sealable lunch sack/purse. All meals need to be put in a thermos that keeps items cool or hot for at least 12 hours or more. You'll need to keep cold foods cold or hot foods hot and liquids are in to be put in a thermos that keeps it cold or hot for 12 hours or more.  Please find these in the thermos sections in your local stores, Walmart, Target, Fred Meyers and Kmart or etc.... Please don't bring food in unless you bring for all children.  Please leave foods in your car, if parked please have your child finish eating there or at home.



      We need a 3 weeks advance notice period to end care, if you're a drop in and not contracted parent or guardian.         Parent's are obligated to pay for the 3 weeks advance notice period.  This is to start Monday thru Friday and consequtivily in a 3 week row. No exchanging weeks or days.  This is to be done in handwriting with last date of care with hand written signature.  (no exceptions)  Any deposit is lost if parent's account isn't paid in full, this includes all late fees, tardy fees, field trip fees, supply fees, enrollment fees and any other fees related to your childs account. All parents pay for their days if we are closed for any reason. This is to continue your child's spot.  No 3 weeks notice periods are to be accepted during closed holidays or breaks.  If you have a low rate, which some do because of a coupon special or etc... I can't guarantee your rate or tuition will be the same if you leave us and you'll need to go on a waiting list to get back in. All parents are charged and yearly enrollment fee, yearly supply fee and the occassional field trip fee. All parents agree to read LGPreschool.com for all information, with the daily sign in sheet and agrees to all policies on the website, in their childs file and the sign in sheet contract.

       

      We don't provide health insurance or any other type of insurance. All parents agree to provide their own insurance at the sign in sheet contract each day in our care.  We are too small to absorb these fees, especially since I'm not charging you the typical rate that other facilities charge and that is $1,500.00 a month.  Please call and survey the larger facilities to find that they charge higher fees and tuitions.

       

       

       

      Guarantee Policy

      Your child's spot/reservation/appointment will be held until 6:00 AM the morning following your scheduled arrival date. If you do not arrive and do not cancel your reservation by the cancellation deadline, your credit card will be charged for the appointment/reservation/spot per child. If you don't have a credit card on file then you will be invoiced and billed for it.

      Your child's reservations/appointments/spot may be changed or cancelled, without a charge, via one of the following methods:
      • From our information page above.
      • I need 48 hours advance notice or more for cancelations for drop-in childcare or Preschool/Pre-K prior to the scheduled appointment/reservation/spot.
      • By calling, emailing or texting our reservations center -- 425-223-3607 in the U.S.  and giving them your confirmation number.
      • By calling the hotel directly and leaving a voicemail with us giving you a confirmation number.

       

       

       

      Our vacation for 2011 is August 15 to August 31 with returning to class on September 1st, 2011.  Our December  vacation is from December 19th to December 31st 2011. We also are closed for New Years eve and New Years day and return back to daycare and class on January 4th 2011.  

       

       All parents are responsible to pay for broken or stolen property.  Please have your child return stolen item or items.  The child or children need to learn to return items that they didn't purchase with their own money.  Having your child learn this early, is better than them learning when they're older.  If they learn when they are really young then they may not even repeat this negative behavior. 

       

       

       

      All parents are required to fully read website to be current with all Little Geniuses policies and proceedures. Please have it read within the first month of your child or children's enrollment with Little Geniuses.  All adult conversations relating to the website needs to be scheduled in advance for a conference session so we're both on the same page. Here is where we won't be distracted by children and we'll both be able to focus on questions and concerns we both have.  I need all parents to schedule for conferences at 2pm to 3pm, as this is the best time to confir and when the children are napping.

       

      Parents who receive subsidies from any agency to pay for childcare will need to keep their programs up to date or end up paying us the tuition for daycare, childcare, preschool, prek or any other fees that aren't covered by DEL--this includes DSHS, DEL, Respic, any county programs.  

       

      All parents who get bumped off subsidy programs, dshs, del or other agencies will need to put an advance 3 week deposit or 4 week deposit, pay the yearly enrollment fee and yearly supply fee plus pay for field trips.  All tuition is always paid in advance or before care is started.

       

       

      If parents are unable to be receptive to our program policies,proceedures and our expertise in child development, then we ask of you to just give us 3 weeks advance notice to end your child or childrens care or plainly just don't start with us.  We will wish you luck in finding that perfect place that agrees with your parenting style. The parenting styles we do well with are authoritatative parenting style.  If your the neglectful, abusive, permissive,authoritarian, uninvolved parenting style then this won't work for us. Please look up all these parenting styles to see where you possibly might fit.  If your one of the above parenting styles and are looking for guidance on how to be an authoritative parenting styles, let us know-we'll help you find information to help guide you.

      All parent's agree to website rates.  All parents that sign the sign in sheet daily agree to website rates, unless they have a seperate contract signed by Janice and by the parents and dated, stating another rate is going to be used instead. This will  be a mutually agreed contract, all parents are required to make a seperate appointment within their first month in childcare, preschool or prek.  Parents that don't make time to make this appointment forgo any rates that might of been quoted for a coupon rate (which parents need to provide at contracting time to be filed), phone quoted rates or email quoted rates.  As you know, rates can fluxuate when a discount might be applied thus having parents pay full website rates. We may need to close the daycare and preschool for unusual weather, please check our website prior to driving over. If there is snow or if the wind is acting up causing power outages.  Please check the Kent school district website to see if they've closed the schools, if they have, we'll be closed also.  It the Kent school district has a half day starting at 10 am, we will also. If there is a natural disaster, we'll be closed then also. Parent's pay for all closures, even if it's a natural disaster or weather related.   Please keep tuned to the news channels for Kent school district school closures.  My website should have updates if we need to close during a storm or natural disaster, if not, text me and I will try my best to respond back and last resort, please call me. I willl usually know at 6 am but they can change their mind and re update closures as the day progresses.  I will know as much as you can know.

       

      All parents will soon be going through a criminal history check process in a year, this process will be on going and done yearly, as information can change.  As all licensed daycares have to go through a criminal history check prior to having a license to care for children, we will also require parents to have a criminal history check prior to being around other parent's children during pick up, drop offs, field trips and outings.  This helps us all feel secure that we're not letting someone negative to be arounnd the children thus helping us protect the children, even further.If you don't want to go through the criminal history check, please give us your 3 weeks advance notice, simple.

       

      All parents responcible in putting dates on sign in sheet every day and it should be the correct date and when signing in make sure to write the correct time from the sign in sheet clock. No estimating time or rounding off. There is a video camera and it tapes the sign in sheet and the clock as your walking in each day. If a parent is found to be not putting correct times down on sigh in sheet, then we have the right to charge an extra $5.00 for the error per day and per child.
