USDA FOOD Program
Parent's who sign up on the USDA food program will receive free meal times--if your signed in during the meal times and if you sign up for the USDA food program. No complete ink full signatures on the sign in sheet can disallow your child's free meals for the day or days. If I'm not reimbursed by state funds for the meals for your child, you will be billed for the meals. I need the 2 full ink signatures and 2 sign in times to make this USDA program work for you to get the free food and so you don't need to pack your child's foods into class. I think it's a good trade off... It saves your family time not having to prepare for foods in your kitchen for your signatures to be used by the USDA agency... You can be a millionaire to be on this free food program--so far--unless they stop the USDA food program. If this program terminates me, I will give you the notice period they give me... Parent's who habitually don't sign into the attendance sheet will be terminated off the USDA food program as they need the sign in sheets for verification-parent's who get bumped off the USDA program for not signing in/out their child each day will need to pack in their own foods for each meal or pay a higher class/daycare fee of $200.00 per child per month in advance with their monthly tuition fees. Parent's who are negligent in not signing in and out properly can be terminated with loss of any deposits. Parents agree not to sign in on other parents signature lines and to only sign in on their childs signature line. Parent's can't let children write on the sign in sheet, it is a government document and needs to be ledgible. Please remember the children get to use write n wipes, crayons, markers, color pencils, chalk, computer programs to write with so they have more than ample time to write with us during class and daycare time.
If the USDA food program does get illiminated from the government budget, we will be adding a $200.00 tuition increase per child. This program has been around for a very long time so I really can't see it being eliminated.
Here is there website and feel free to look up information on the agency, anytime you have time.

*No dinners are served as of yet. If we decide to add dinners, we'll let you know.
If your child comes after the breakfast meal time then they can get snack, lunch and snack (that is if your child is present and on the sign in sheet at those meal times. If your child only signed in for a few hours, they may just get 1 meal period... if they go home early. Child needs to be present during a meal time, if your late, after a meal period then make sure to feed your child prior to coming over. Please plan accordingly... If you pick up your child before a meal period, please remember to feed them while your out and about or when you get home.
Our meal times are:
8:50AM for Breakfast
10:50AM for snack
1 PM for lunch
2:10 pm for snack
We can't be in the kitchen all day, please make sure to be here before the meal times, if you come after, you child won't be served. They won't starve, they will eat at the next meal time and I'm sure if they're hungry, they'll eat seconds. We have class subjects to get to, so it is imparitative that parent's feed their child in a parked car or at home, if your not able to make our meal times. Remember, you have 1 or 2 children and we have between 6 children or more present for a meal time.
Parent's please bring a healthy snack, if you must bring them food, and please have your child eat it in your parked car if you've missed a meal period. Please don't let your child walk in to our classroom or daycare with food in their mouth or hands, as this is a choking hazard and sets a not so good eating example for other impressionable children. A healthy snack can be roll, tortilla, bread, veggie tid bits, fruit tid bits, sun flower seeds, crushed nuts, fruit bits.... (if your child is not allergic) Parent's please don't bring potatoe chips, (high salty foods) or high sugary foods (donuts, cakes, candy bars) for your child--this is considered party food and not real food. We use these types of foods for birthday parties and holiday's ONLY... Everyday nutrition needs to be whole foods, please slice and diced very small-- for a small childs mouth... Large pieces are a choking hazard for under age 4 years.... Parent's may bring food in for all children for parties and special events-check class attendance calendar for information on who will be present for the day or just bring for 12 children --easy.
